Uh oh, I lost my job
August 2nd, 2007 by Robert
First, I wasn’t happy with my job. Second, it got me more focused on what I really want which is to not work for someone else. It is hard to give 100% when you don’t feel like you are getting 100%. We have a couple of irons in the fire and it won’t be easy by any means but working for US will be so much more rewarding.
For the time being though I will have to get another job to pay the bills, but the end goal is to have one or more companies up and running in a matter of months. While I’m being optimistic, I’m also a realist. I don’t expect to be able to completely quit my job by say, the end of the year, but I am hoping to be self sufficient in about 12 months.
My wife is getting back into making candles again (they are awesome!) and is running a promotion to name her company. Check out the details and you can win one of her candles.
We’ll see…

Let me know the details, and of you wish, I will add your wife’s candle making to the Pagan to Pagan directory on my site. It is only starting, but i believe it will grow well.
Good luck with your own business.

I hope all goes well with your new job adventures. I have been involved in affiliate marketing for years with little success. I have recently decided to try again to help supplement our income now that we are traveling the US. Well I’m convinced that it is for the best. If nothing more it makes me pursue my entrepreneur dreams even more.

Robert,
It seems you don’t have to look far to find lots of unhappy, unsatisfied, or unfulfilled lives roaming the planet. I admire the ones who have the courage to do something about it. I’ve been in the corporate world for 2 years and I’m fed up already. I want to work for myself and pursue my dreams. Thanks for this great blog and for the inspiration you provide me.
